A Not-For-Profit Tradition of Caring Since 1899

The Cambridge Homes has a rich tradition of service to the Cambridge community. The not-for-profit organization was established by a group of Cambridge citizens (including Alice Longfellow, the poet's daughter) over 100 years ago. The Cambridge Homes' charitable mission continues to be carried out today by an active nine-member Board of Directors and 50 Incorporators, all from the Cambridge, MAcommunity.

Volunteers from the Cambridge area serve on the Friends' Committee sponsoring a variety of in-house programs and acting as medical escorts for residents, driving them to and providing companionship during physician visits.

Our Charitable En dowment

The Cambridge Homes' Board of Directors is committed to using a portion of its endowment fund for financial scholarships to help defray costs forCambridge residents with limited means. Our staff can review your financial situation and healthcare needs to determine if you qualify for a financial scholarship.
