Since 1990, Senior Living Residences has created service-enriched independent, assisted living and Alzheimer’s care options for seniors in New England. Guided by our “Right Values”—Resident Quality of Life, Valued Associates, Innovation and Integrity - SLR is a trusted leader in the senior care community. Partnering with equally committed organizations, such as the Boston University School of Medicine’s Alzheimer’s Disease Center, we remain at the forefront of holistic focused,  research-based care for seniors, especially those living with Alzheimer’s disease.

What do we mean by our “Right Values” principles?

Resident Quality of Life: Priority number one at our senior communities is the enhancement of each resident’s overall Quality of Life. We focus on the whole person, not just the treatment of their most basic physical or cognitive needs. Our method is to individualize and personalize a plan of care for each resident providing just the right combination of services to be ever ready with supportive care while optimizing each resident’s potential for independence and personal dignity.

Innovation: SLR’s history and future is based on innovation. We continue to innovate in partnership with academic institutions, allied professionals and families to develop new and improved care options for our residents. Because we understand the need to stay ahead of the curve, we have put a variety of research-driven programs in place, including food selections that support memory function, extensive focus on social interaction and wellness, and pharmacological assessments to provide our residents with a level of high-quality care that is simply not found at other communities.

Valued Associates: All SLR Associate are treated as valued and respected professionals, which accounts for SLR communities having among the lowest turnover rates in our industry. This is imperative to the success of our mission. Rigorous training in practices, procedures and communications drive appreciation and support of co-workers in the delivery of exceptional care and services to residents.

Integrity: This underlies all we do at SLR. Simply put, we do what we say we will do. We do not make promises we cannot keep, and from delivering on our commitment to improving our residents’ quality of life to ensuring that our associates have what they need to perform their jobs well, we keep our promises.
