Experienced Senior Management Team Hired for Armbrook Village

Two residents of West Springfield, Beth Cardillo and Eileen Drumm, have been tapped to serve as Executive Director and Director of Community Relations for the new Armbrook Village. One of Cambridge’s beloved institutions turned 125 years old this month and scores of Cambridge citizens turned out to celebrate the milestone at The Cambridge Homes anniversary gala last Thursday. The not-for-profit organization, established in 1887, has a distinguished history serving the needs of Cambridge seniors continually adapting to meeting changing needs throughout its many years of existence. Cinnamon, a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, is full of health benefits for the body and brain. It’s so good for us, in fact, that scientists actually recommend a daily dose of cinnamon – from ½ to 1 teaspoon a day! This recommendation is based on various studies that have been conducted over the last decade. (As a cautionary note: Do not exceed 3 teaspoons of cinnamon a day. In small amounts cinnamon is a healing agent; in excessive amounts it can stress the liver.) Read More >
